The family business, the JP Group concern was founded in 1976 by
Johannes Pedersen, the father of Martin Pedersen - therefore the
abbreviation JP.
Johannes Pedersen used to be a bus driver, but from 1965 he
spent all his spare time on the production of rubber hangers for
cars, rubber hammers and ash trays. This enabled him to invest in
tools and machines for production of spare parts for his big
interest: CARS.
Johannes Pedersen died in 1992, only 63 years old.
